I have been riding road exclusively since I have arrived in Japan. This is dramatically different from back home where my road riding was less than 30% of my riding. Trail were nearby and I would prefer a day in the woods over a day on the road.

I will be moving this summer out of chinatown and possibly to Zushi. There are some trails that will be available to me then and I decided it was time to get a new toy.

2014 Soma Juice 29er.

Already scheduled a trip to break it in! April 20th I will be out playing down in Izu.

Sweet,sweet ride!
Looks the business!
I'm sure you won't regret moving down to Zushi for a minute.
The trails must be great down there especially with the ocean views!

Stem is too short. Did you buy that frameset here or from OS?
Soma are sweet but haven't you heard, steel rusts.

Steel is all that exists in my stable... not one has suffered from rust! ;)
1) Salsa Fargo
2) Ritchey Road logic
3) Somec
4) Soma Juice

As for the stem... it is a crime that I am not running a 130mm stem! It is a forgone conclusion that any bike with anything other than a 130 is the wrong size... so i will just say, I liked the color!

I bought the frame from a small boutique shop in the US.

I think @kiwisimon's comment was a firmly tongue-in-cheek reference to a now infamous wind-up thread here on TCC.
