Cancellara made the TT look easy....

The road race should be good...

Boonen?

Watch the Japanese hold on and perform above expectations...they'll impress...

Wow, looking over the provisional start list there are some big names racing. I do like Thor Hushvod, very strong sprinter but as of late has not been performing as well as he has in the past. I don't see much coming out of the American side unless Hincapie pulls an upset, which is possible.

Russia appears to have a strong team. Yet, I think in the end it will be a battle between Belgium and Italy...one of their big name riders will pull out the win.

It is good to see Cancellara take the title again. After seeing his prologue ride at the Tour De France it didn't surprise me at all. I wish Leipheimer would have shown up for the USA, because he pulled an amazing time trial at the Tour of Missouri.

1 Paolo Bettini (Italy)
2 Alexandr Kolobnev (Russian Federation)
3 Stefan Schumacher (Germany)
4 Frank Schleck (Luxembourg)
5 Cadel Evans (Australia)

These 5 were in the final breakaway.... excellent finish... Evans tried to break with 500 to go but he just doesn't have that power for sprinting....

Exciting race... no sign of the Japanese guys yet... hope they finish mid field...

Great Finale.

Pleased for Bettini, but a little dissapointed in some of the other guys performance. Won't name names!

A lot of DNFs doesn't surprise me. 14 laps X 19 odd kms with those 3 climbs in it is a very grueling course....
