Back to my gearing experiments with the Charge Mixer 8, and towing heavy loads of beer.
You can see the gearing I'm fooling with.
The stock on this bike is the 39T front chain ring and an 18T rear cog.
I wanted a LOT lower gears to haul the trailer, so I put on a 22T rear cog, and then when I could get it a 23T rear, I can't seem to find a 24T rear cog, that would have been nice. The gearing I'm using is indicated with red arrows.
I also put some numbers up to show changing the size of the front chain ring, one or two teeth really don't make much of a difference, but I knew that.
I don't think I'll have to go any lower gears than this, my weight is going down and my strength/fitness is going up, so I hope this gearing will be just fine.
