Hi all
Does anyone know any cheap sources for Veloflex Arenberg or carbon tyres in Japan? They are around 9500 yen on wiggle but would prefer to buy locally if around the same price.
My rear conti sprinter is showing signs of wear and needs replacing soon.
Cheers
Mark

@Robert Thanks for the reply. Do you run Arenbergs front and rear?

I have found them at Nalsima Friend near Harajuku but they were about 12,000 yen if memory serves me well. They are currently 9200 on wiggle. I guess I might just get them from wiggle as I'll save 6000 yen on two (including train fares etc)

Do you train on these?

I hear great things about veloflex but I reckon they would be an expensive training tyre.

I train on gatorskins which can be picked up for 5000 yen on bici-sana. There are a few makes of tyre but no veloflex.

My old DS's son from Ravanello runs this site.

The price is great. The only downside is it is all Japanese and you have to pay for handling and delivery (so order in bulk) and you can't pay by credit card.

But if you can take those hassles, the price is good.
