So there's a big fancy toll bridge/tunnel from Kisarazu to Kawasaki. Toll for cars is 3000 yen M-F/1000 weekends. I can't find any info about bikes. Are they allowed? toll?

the 5km bridge plus the 9.6 km tunnel doesn't sound *so* fun but I'm considering extending my "tokyo area" job search to include kisarazu.

Any experience with this road?

Hi Kori it's been a long time, how are you?

Most of days of year, almost of all toll roads are not allowed to light vehicles, and unfortunately bike is among those. It's pity for us bikers even some tunnels and bridges of free ways are not allowed to bike too. Only way to cross the road is to ride on bus with bike in your bike bag.
