Anybody choosing to live with a little bit of this?

My solution for the occasional scuff is a bit of electrical tape on the toe, was also wondering if there were better ideas for this.

Loads. I don't concern myself with my shoes. I just try to remember during low speed maneuvering that I could be standing on my tire if I get the wrong foot too far forward. It's more of an issue on mudguard days when there's even less clearance and pressing the mudguard on the tire can actually stop the wheel turning. Gravity is always watching!

I use permanent markers to hide the scuff marks (on my black shoes). Needs retouching every couple of months.
I just live with it (and tend to be careful, as HFM mentioned, when doing low speed maneuvers) One bike 50cm w/ clipless pedals, toe overlap! Another bike 52cm (old school), toe overlap because of toe clips but if I switch to SPDs (MTB) I get less toe overlap.
