Test riding in Tokyo?

I am looking into buying a gravel bike, but find that it is difficult to test ride at bike stores in Tokyo. Do you know of any bike stores that allow test rides or that would let me at least “ride” the bike on a training stand or so? Went to Y’s Road in Shinjuku today and it is kind of hard to tell which bike and which size works better if you just half sit/stand on the bike  Also, I would really like to test out how confident I would feel with drop-bar handles …

GS Astuto has many rental bikes, which also serve as test bikes if you're interested in buying your own. You can definitely take one for a spin around the block or up and down the river(bank)

Source: good friend, have several bikes from there.

+1 on the GS Astuto suggestion.
