What's new

Yeah, we got rid of it. It is a massive pain in the bum-bum to maintain and integrate into the website, and is entirely dodgy and unsecure for the end user. We had an incident previously where people posting images onto the site using it, had their images replaced with some random shots from another account user from somewhere unknown on the planet. There are endless accounts of it being rubbish all over the net, and since we now have a much better mobile interface built in to the system, we decided it was time to give it the boot.

I asked a selection of users who previously used it if they would be bothered if we got rid of it, and everyone I asked said they didn't care, so we decided to unplug.

Hope that makes sense.

I was jolly happy to delete Tapatalk from my iOS devices (although I wasn't one of the ones asked...)

Ok, got it.

I always found it sketchy, but it was convenient. No more notifications for pm's on iOS.

I will try to change my use habits...
