I'm setting up a social ride to catch the last hour or so of the 3-hour Enduro on Sunday.
Two departure points:
08.00-sharp Leave from in front of the Grand Hyatt (map link) at Roppongi Hills, led by James sw08023jp{at}yahoo.co.jp o9o-2874-4848, ride 15 km to link up with...
09.00-ish Leave from under the railway bridge (map link) on the Kawasaki side of Futago-bashi, led by Mike mike2{at}halffastcycling.com o8o-34o3-o239. Will wait here for James' group to arrive, or for 09.00, whichever is later, then go.
We will then ride 25 km down the Tamagawa and through Kawasaki port area to the race venue (map link). The race finishes at 11.30 so we should catch the last hour. Bring whistles, megaphones, vuvuzelas, taiko etc. to hurl abuse… no… encouragement at the exhausted riders. Once things calm down we will then leave and aim to meet up with another ride group at Jonanjima Seaside Park (map link) for a picnic. That leg is around 20 km.
With the 15 km ride back to Roppongi Hills, the total for the full loop should be around 75 km.
Sound like fun?
