At first I thought this was just plain stupid, but on second thoughts I think it might be useful for city bikes.

I wouldn't want one myself, but it's quite ingenious.

Seat tube firmly attached by D-lock to street furniture; both wheels locked via a fairly stout flex to the D-lock; saddle rails chained to seat stays. (I liked the paintwork and the chain-wrap colouring.)

Yeah yeah, sorry. If the bike had been elsewhere, and if my camera had been blessed with manual focus as easy to use as it was before %@#$ing electronics invaded cameras, and if I hadn't felt I was trying Mrs Microcord's patience by staring at a parked pushbike, I could have photographed it a lot better. Or that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
