Half-Fast Mike

This Saturday, Half-Fast brings its massive influence to bear on the situation up north. Half-Fast member Satohi's home town of Ishinomaki was among those heavily damaged in the March 11 disaster, and she is trying to raise funds to rebuild. She already raised ¥700,000 with a charity run on March 19th. Funds raised go to www.city.ishinomaki.lg.jp/mpsdata/web/7200/0325010.pdf

Now it's our turn. We will get together for a ride and throw some money in the coffers. The ride will be an easy jaunt out to Odaiba, to encourage as many people as possible to go along. It will take place tomorrow, Saturday. and will start at 1:00 p.m. from the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills. The distance is 30 kilometers and the destination is our usual beer spot at the beach. You can donate even if you don't ride; someone will be at the Hyatt at 12:30 to accept donations. She mentions that she is out of shape and cannot carry a lot of heavy coins, so banknotes only, please (wink wink). Il Padrino will start the pot with a ¥5000 donation.

Looked like a good turnout, what was the final total?
