Baby powder. Seriously. Non-scented talc. Any drugstore should have it. Works wonders.

And I've found one key to avoiding this painful malady is to change out of your shorts as soon as possible after riding, so that your taint ain't marinading in sweat. If that's not possible, a discrete rub-down with body wipes (e.g. Shiseido Ag+ Clear Shower Sheet) helps a lot.

+1 on Mike's points. also suggest noxcema creme (or generic skin cleansing creme). I apply at onset (or before a long day in the saddle) and things clear up w/in a day.

Woke up and my arse feels fine! didnt have talc so used some cream i had that did the trick it would seem. no sore arse means more bike testing today!
