Saturday 27th we'll do a slow and easy, keep-fit beginners' jaunt out to Odaiba for a brew or two. 30km, starting at 11:00 from the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi Hills. Back by 2:30 at the latest.
Sunday 28th, a 55-km, intermediate-level Tama River Loop. Easy but fast. Start at the Grand Hyatt at 11:00 a.m. Alternate rendezvous points: KFC in Ebisu @ 11:30, Intersection of Kan-Nana and Komazawa-Dori @ 11:45, Komazawa Park @ noon, bridge at Futako-Tamagawa (Kanagawa side) @ 12:20, Gas Bashi @ 12:45 or 1:00. Long break at Jonan Jima seaside park (across from Haneda) at 1:30. Convenience store lunch. Back by 3:00 or 3:30. If you have no problem with our beginners' rides, you could view this as an advanced beginners' jaunt, about twice as far. And faster.
And Monday 29th, a 75-km Arakawa River Loop. Start at the Hyatt at 11:00. Route: Imperial Palace, Ochanomizu, Ueno Park, Yanaka, Nishi-Nippori, short break at the Mighty Arakawa, longer break at Kasai Rinkai Seaside Park, Wakasu Park, Odaiba and back to the beer pub in Azabu. NOT a beginners' ride.
