My name is Rich Volpe and I arrived in Tokyo around 7 months ago. I had been focusing on training for Ironman Japan, but, for various reasons, have decided to forego any big triathlons for now and focus on getting out and doing as much cycling as possible. So, I hope to join up with you on one of your rides in the very near future.

Sorry you will not be participating in Ironman Japan this year. My preparations for IMJ have started this week (if you can call taking the cover off my bike preparation). Can't wait for the long rides in the mountains. See you then.
