Here's a little resume.

I went to Odawara on tuesday 04/18, cycling down the coast to Atami.
I left home about at 6:00 am. It was beautifull day. :cool:
I took a train from Shinjuku to Odawara (Odakyu line) a one way ticket cost me 860 yens.
I arrived in Odawara about at 9:00am and back to Odawara at 17:30.

Odawara <-> Atami <-> Ito.

Distance: 118 Km
Max. Speed: 66 km/h
I paid 20 yens to take the railway. :D

Newton-san,

you paid 20 yens for bike on train?!:eek:
Untill 1998 I had to pay 270 yens foir bike, but now I thinik it is free.Your experience is surprise for me.:eek: :eek:

The 270 yens was originaly for the Keirin runner in the time of poor days for them. Now there is no Kerin runner to get on a train to bring their bikes. It is just the tourists like me. So train company stopped the system in 1998.):) :)

Hi Sora-san,

My big mistake...
I paid for Road Tax and not for railway. :eek:
