Race nobeyama gravel race

I remember the golden age of cycling when Assos was king!

I'm 'racing' this, along with a mate from here.

For information, I'm told by the organiser that the race has around 60-70 entrants from the 190 capacity (as of Tuesday this week).

Any idea what the segments will be like?

Climbing, descending, rolling or flat?

Cheers, Andy

More expensive than the CX race, but I think it says each stage is around 35 km, so 70 km in total for the long touring race.
Doubt many taxis could take those roads.

Edit: 70 km for the race entry and the long touring entry.

Right, so two 35km stages with a 10km timed segment in each?

Cheers, Andy

No idea about precise roads yet, but if you check out the Instagram profiles of some of the guys from Rapha Japan, they've been test riding roads recently. As such, you can get a bit of an idea about surfaces etc.

Any names I can stalk on Strava?

Cheers, Andy

edit: found him!

Just put my entry in for this.

Hoping for some long flat strade bianche type segments to put the hammer down on!

Still in the dark about the course.

Has anybody heard anything?

Cheers, Andy
