Hello. I recently discovered this group by accident, but I am excited that I have. I live in Ota, Gunma Prefecture, and I am an American expat. I love to ride, and I am always typically down for a ride.

However, I'm currently on the bench because I need a new set of pedals and a crank for my bike at the moment because of my recent mistake. You can read all about that at: http://injapan.gaijinpot.com/play/travel/2012/06/01/2-wheel-wisdom-from-a-painted-seatpost/

I would love to meet other riders in the Gunma area for some rides on the highway 50, along the Tohoku toward Tokyo or along the Tonegawa.

Pleasure to meet you.

what size crank are you looking for? there are tons on track cranks available on rakuten and yahoo, and a few on wiggle. if you know the PCD and arm length you're looking for I'm sure someone can help out with a link to an online store.

Oh, to clarify, I have the perfect crank set picked out on Amazon.co.jp but I do not have the money to buy it yet. I'm a stay at home Dad, so unfortunately money doesn't flow fast to my pocket. Probably will be at least a couple months till I can afford a new one.

However, if someone has a spare 170mm Left crank arm that they could part with for a few hundred yen, that would be awesome.

This is the one I'm saving up for though: http://www.amazon.co.jp/ブレーブ-FIXIE-...UTF8&colid=2J4FWEPKHJ4O4&coliid=I2XR347IIV2E9

Thanks for the reply. Take it easy.-L
