Rego

Can anyone help me with signing up? I've got a couple of options;
エキスパート 一般(JCF登録者)
and
男子B 30歳~34歳 (this is my age group)
Which one should I chose? Do I need to be a member of JCF to do option 1? Does it matter which I chose?
There is also some other things on that entry page
7月5日(日) 第5回 フレンドシップサイクルフェスティバルin富士スピードウェイ/@FUJI SPEEDWAY
which I assume is an entirely different event, but you can get a discount if you apply for two at the same time?

Sports Entry implies you have to be JCF-registered, but according to the homepage Expert is open to

中学生以上の未登録者、JCF登録者、男女

First part reads "unregistered riders junior high or older", so that should mean you're okay.

Looks like you get 1000 yen off when signing up for 2 or more events. On the Sports Entry form, just tick the last option at the bottom (in the yellow cells. Checkbox is marked 追加) .

Thanks Phil, I'm signed up (at least, I'm pretty sure I'm signed up.) :) I only rego'ed for the hillclimb, is anyone else doing the event the following weekend?

Sora,

Please sign me up for a spot in the hotel.

With you in thought

hi

Whilst you are doing the Fuji Hill Climb I will be soaking up the sun in the Canary Islands. I'll be thinking of you - I may even sink a couple of beers:beer2: in your honour.

Good luck to you all - my legs still ache at the thought of that climb - I will look forward to reading the write ups of the weekend.

It's Fuji time again …

Hello Everybody !

As long as I have the opportunity to live in Japan, my religion obliges me to participate to this excruciating annual pilgrimage (and pay for it on top of that).

I received the official invitation letter by mail few months ago, but refused to admit that it was coming again (it seems to take place sooner and sooner every year). It took a phone call from Shinobu-san & Thomas at 2 o'clock in the morning (just 2 hours before my cow milking chore) to bring me back to reality : It's Fuji time and it's going to hurt !!!

I am sorry for the late announcement. I will enroll ASAP, find my bike among the moving boxes, start a diet and take some time to train between 2 sessions of rice cultivation to make sure that I will have the capacities to honor my God !

Share the road !

p.s. Don't give your phone number to Shinobu-san or Thomas; they seem to live in another time zone ! Or perhaps it is me

Hello guys,

After weeks of deliberating, I've finally entered the event.

I've never done a cycle race before:eek:, so I'm not sure what I'm letting myslef in for. A very painful morning I expect.

I managed to squeeze in a late entry yesterday. I decided on doing the MTB class. It will be interesting to see if I can beat my previous Road time with the heavier bike and thicker wheels but plenty of lighter gears. I really suffered last time even with 39/27 which I normally never need.
