Hello,

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, I am looking for some information on the Keirin School and Keirin racing in Japan. I am a track sprint cyclist currently based in England, and I am really keen to come over to Japan and get involved with Keirin racing. As far as I am aware all potential Keirin racers have to attend the Keirin School before they can compete. I have been looking for information on the internet but not found very much. If anyone has any information on the school, if they accept foreign cyclist, costs, contact information or just any general information on the subject and how to get into Keirin racing it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Find the keirin thread and PM the poster called Tomity.
Make sure you send him a record of your ability and experience.
He may be able to help.

The school only accepts 120 a year as I remember and it's very competitive to get into the school.

Would be great if you manage to get in to it over here.... good luck.
