Good evening. I just moved to Japan (Fussa/Yokota Air Base) and would like to see if anyone knows of any road cycling clubs in the area? I'm looking to start training again with he hopes of racing in club races this next year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards.

Hell Of The Maraiana's

There is a road race every year in Saipan. The race is on the Island and is a sponsored event by the local Tourism Authority MVA. The name is certainly on the money. The race is HELL!!
5,500 feet of climbing 88F 28C Humidity 87. The distance is 100KM however there are options: teams of 2 doing 50KM or a team of 4 doing 25KM each but Individual is the way to experince true HELL.
Saipan is 3hr flight and a great get away at the end of the Japan cycling season. The race is always the last week of October and blends in with the Halloween Activities at the Pacific Islands Club Resort. Prize money for the top 3 females and Males and age group prizes. They have sprint primes at different hills this year $500 USD was given away on primes and $4,000 USD in prize money.

Start training fro next year.
