With my "one race a month" promise to the missus, I picked this one for October. I'll do the S class 20 laps (120 km) on this tough but fast course:

I really enjoyed riding this one two years ago as a domestique for James @FarEast

This time I want to break away. I'll have Adam Cobain for company and 2 other strong friends too.

The JCRC are nice events with lots of different categories available. Also a chance to stay at Adam's Blue Monkey if you don't make the epic ride.

Good luck, @andywood! My son and I were also there at Gunma CSC two years ago, as he was running in his first race ever that day (X class). Great experience!

Cheers Joe, I remember Shintaro was racing but I don't think we got a chance to chat. Is he still doing the JCRC stuff? I may even try out Saiko this year...

Next Sunday's start list is up.
A small field full of strong riders. I'm looking forward to trying to pull something off with @Adam Cobain and Team Fins' Hayakawa san and Adachi san, two friends that I train with regularly. Ovest's Bandai san should also be involved.
And it's great to see one of my favorite riders Ovest's Nishitani san in the mix. 47 but don't let age fool you! He'll be out for revenge after I beat him at Tokyo~Itoigawa in May!
Perhaps the most dangerous rider is Eqads' Koyama san - just 17 years old - a real firecracker!

Should be a great day's racing in Gunma.
