Hello everybody,
First of all I want to say thanks for having me as a part of the club . I new to cycling (about 3 months) but I've been an athlete all my life. I'm doing ok starting off but it's more difficult than I thought it would be; I'm working totally new muscle groups yeah it hurts a little.
Right now I ride a Cannondale F5, I use it as a trainer...I've learned that the hardest aspect for me is the climb. As a life time athlete I've always been taught to work on th e hardest stuff twice as much than everything else. As often as possible I ride to climb on the MTB so that the ride on the ROAD is more powerful. I'm getting stronger but it's still hard to keep up with my buddies.
I've been on only one group ride but it was a good experience...they took it easy on me
I'm borrowing my friends CF Road bike for now but I'm going to build a one of my own in a month or so. I'll build a Tengusa full CF frame & forks w/ Shimano 105 (2006 model) components. When that's done I think I want an aluminum or titanium frame w/ CF forks but hey...one step at a time right.
Well enough about me for now, if you'd like to know more hit me up anytime.
