Found this Ministry web page for Heat Stroke Alert updates that reports Wet Bulb Globe Temperature throughout the day and forecasts. For those of us that have weak tolerances for heat, this is better than trying to use only the “Feels Like” temp many popular weather apps report. Some might find it useful for planning.

If you have a weak tolerance to heat, then the best thing to do is to train for it gradually over time, rather than just relying on a guide to give you directions. Ensuring proper hydration, breaks, and also replenishing of electrolytes will get you through most of the worst temperatures, while also not going out during 12 - 15, which is usually the hottest time of the day.

The WBGT mesaurement is something that I often see in schools, though it's not often explained to teachers or students, with the directions on the site being particularly useless.

From 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. or actually noon time to 3:00 p.m. it is hot and if you're lucky you can still cycle as long as you're in the shade especially if you're in going through the mountains and on the side of the shade this is not too bad but out in the sun it's for me it's just too hot.

During the early days of COVID when we all were having our temps taken several times a day as we moved around the city I was surprised to discover my “normal” temp was a shockingly low 35.5C! The recommendation until recently is one should avoid exercise when the WBGT is above your normal body temp. Apparently now that the scientists have access to much bigger data sets thanks to all our wearables and phones they’ve revised their recommendations to 33C, considerably lower than 37.5C average body temp.
