Hey everybody, I'm Chay & leading this year's BEE ride. I live in Saku, eastern Nagano & come to Tokyo sometimes, (but usually by train). My group will be in Tokyo Aug 31 to Sep 4 if anyone wants to join our environmental events (or even better, wants to organise one!). Now lets see if I can get this link to work..:bike:

hey thomas. My tour is an annual environmental awareness bike ride from Wakkanai at the top to either Kyushu or Okinawa (ok, some ferry travel involved there). For more info, just ask or see www.beejapan.org
Say, I want to buy a pair of cycling shoes. Is there a shop at Tokyo which has a decent range for me to actually see rather than just order??

Hey Chay,

thanks for your reply!

There's plenty of decent bike shops around. What your shoe size? And which area in Tokyo are going to stay?

I'll be in Shinjuku & around & about. Might go to OD box at Okachimachi because thats the best I've seen so far. US size 9, would like to try (clipon)sandals.

There's OD Box in Okachimachi and Y. Classic on Chuo Dori nearby. There's another small, but highly professional shop close to Y Classic. Let me know when you are in Tokyo, perhaps we can arrange for a meeting.

Oh, and size 9 shouldn't be a problem at all... :)
