Hi all
I know lots of people have been having a problem with their garmin heart rate monitors. They give false readings and produce spikes which mess up your data. I've been experimenting with different techniques and recently found a really cheap solution. Before putting the strap on, urinate on the two contacts. Just a little is fine. You don't need to soak it. The electrolytes in your urine will allow the sensor to pick up the faint electronic signals up better.
