Hi my name is Ken, I am here with my fiance for three months until the end of September. I have been riding and racing since 1983, still love the sport, the wind, the speed, the friendships... I have met people once or twice on the road and have been changed for the better by those brief encounters. Looking forward to the comradery and thrill of riding with new friends. Be careful out there, the taxis are just as crazy here as they are in San Diego! Ken L.

Hi Ken,

welcome aboard! :welcome:

I am relatively new to the world of cycling and haven't participated in races yet, but I too am fascinated by the comradery and the friendship displayed whenever you encounter a fellow cyclist out on the road, across all boundaries of nationality, language and culture.

If you have access to a bicycle, why don't you join us for one of our next rides? We are going to attend the Yokota Friendship Festival on Saturday, Aug. 19. :)

Oh, and I have to agree on the opinion you voiced in regard to taxis... :warau:
