I'm running a Ultegra Di2 with internal battery. I use to only have to charge it once every three months or so. Now it's after a few rides the battery will be too low to work. So I thought the battery must be bad so I went to the bike shop and got a new one, but still have the same problem. A few months back I had to change my rear derailleur, but other than that the systems has no other changes. Has anyone seen this problem before. When I run the self test the results are everything is good to go. I want to believe the system doesn't shut off when not in use.. How do you find out which item is doing it?

Thanks
Mike

Either that or you have a short somewhere that is draining it.maybe a worn wire. With a multimeter you should be able to testif it’s switching g off or not.
