Hello.
My name is Oscar Guerrero and I own a bicycle shop in Madrid, Spain. www.orasea.com . I am looking into opening a Bicycle Touring business as well and I would like to ask if anyone would be interested.
My idea is to find a place for my clients to stay, either a Hotel or a Rural house (a typical Spanish house in the countryside). Then, I would organize tours, guided or not, around the Madrid area. Around Madrid you can find beautiful landscapes and also the Mountains where Alberto Contador usually trains when he is in Madrid. My team and I would take care of everything so that clients only have to worry about enjoying Madrid and their bicycle rides.
Also, I belong to an ELITE cycling team which races all over Spain and Europe. I could help ELITE cyclists train and participate in ELITE races and tours in Spain as well. I would take care of everything and make sure that help is provided during the races.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
