Tech coming soon to a bike shop in America

It needs four batteries, that sounds like a recipie for disaster to me. I have team mates who have turned up for races with a flat Di2 battery and this just multiplies the chances forgetting to charge & then being unable to change gears at the most awkward time.

I think it will become as normal pumping up tires and checking brakes, check the batteries! I can see a time in the future where the hub rotations and disk brake friction will provide the charge to power the shifts.

I just finished a build with wired Di2 :(:mad::cry: and I am already dreaming of wireless shifting :):love:
Can I have your Di2 then ;) No doubt the team mate was a muppet. He had a battery fail, it was replaced by Shimano & he didnt make sure it was fully charged before he had a race.
