What's new

Argon18 Gallium Pro

@wexford I hope you're aware that you're writing about your ready-to-ride bike and yet haven't posted any pictures of it. Come on, sharing is caring.

A little late I agree. I'll upload more if I ever get to ride it again as I've sprained my foot somehow playing with the kids in a park;-(

Thank you for the pictures. It was worth waiting.
That's definitly a sweet looking bike. I'm sure it's mighty fun to ride, too.
I hope you'll get well soon. So you can take it out for some proper spin.

looks like a pretty light build @wexford ? 7.5kg or so?

Not sure. It feels pretty light which is a good sign. It has quite a lively feel compared to my older steed. I've put on about 3kg over the winter so cancelled any gains the new bike might have provided. Lol.

Two things left to do on the bike. Sort out bar height and tune the front derailleur as it rubs slightly under load.

Lovely bike. Shouldn't be much over 7kgs by the look of it. Call me old fashioned but I would take off the saddle bag for photos!

Yeah. I agree it ruins the lines as does the light on the bars but was happy to be out on it finally :)

foot is improving. Hopefully I can test it out a little at the weekend.

functioning bicycle + functioning feet = revive Tama Tuesday next week??

Foot not functioning just yet. Limping to/from work still. Old people on sticks pass me out. Stairs hurt, sometime a blast of pain if I put weight on my foot in a certain way still. Much better than it was but not ready to push and pull it to destruction on a Tama hill just yet. Please feel free to organize them though, I'll join when I can.
