Seriously, how likely is that? How many forks have you ever broken, or anyone else you know (other than in crashes that put you in a hospital, in which case the cost of a replacement fork would be the least of your problems)? If I don't buy it will mine break the day after the sale? Most definitely.

You're much more likely to damage a derailleur or a brifter than a fork. I know of at least three people (including myself) who all damaged their rear derailleur or derailleur hanger in icy crashes at the VCR Aoba brevet a week ago. But then again, maybe it's quite different in MTB land
I have two bikes. If one should have a major mechanical problem, I'll ride the other until I can get that one fixed or I borrow one of my son's bikes. Some parts are interchangeable or the same, so I could even cannibalise one bike to fix the other: My current NFE rear wheel (11 speed, disk brake) is actually a wheel specifically built for my son's Araya Federal (8 speed, rim brake) but its spec is such that it will work for either. I buy consumables such as shifter cables, brake pads, rotors before I need them, but not other parts unless I'm planning an upgrade.
Sorry to hear that, Luka. They've got 3T Exploro in mine at the moment (see here). Interesting bike. Would fit a taller fella...I see cycly is closing Adachi shop this Sunday. With Itabashi shop gone last month I don't have one easily accessible anymore.......
That's cool. I just really like looking in there as they have lots of interesting stuff. Scratches the same each as @bloaker 's new fork That Exploro was the first bike I've seen in Japan that was probably too big for me - and massively too expensive. Very interesting concept bike tho - an aero, do-it-all bike. Gets decent reviews too. Love to know how they ended up with it. Seems too exotic for the Japanese market somehow.thx. don't really need a full bike, or anything in particular actually. it was just good knowing that I can keep tabs on their offers and if something reaaaaly good shows up I can get it delivered near me for closer inspection. now that's gone. only-know-u-love-her-when-u-let-her-go kinda deal
It's an XL. They recommend 183-191 riders. So, yeah, it's a pretty big. 2018 and 41 man too! What's the size of the Exploro?
I test rode one with MTB tires on the road and it was a weirdly satisfying experience. I would have loved to try it with narrower tires and check out its road bike bona fides, though.
