i'd like gilbert to sucessfully defend his crown but not sure if he will, he doesnt seem 100% and wouldnt be surprised that if he isnt upto it at the end that cadel would throw his hat into the ring as its a pretty good course for his riding style.....having said that i think simon gerrans may get this one

I think it'll be someone Spanish, like Rodriguez, Valverde or Sanchez.

Take notice that they changed the last stretch, after the Keutenberg it's straight to the Cauberg, so shorter distance in between than the previous years. This may be an advantage for attackers on the Keutenberg, think Andy Schleck last year.

I thought there were going to be 2 or 3 drop dead on the finish line.
How depleted were they?

Pushed to the limits... nice win... really waited till the last second.

That crash may have disrupted 2 or 3 right near the finish line as well. :eek:
