First, my plan to leave Tottori then head to Kyoto. l want to do some sightseeing there if possible. l leave next Wednesday. In Tottori l went to the mountains 4 times to collect koshiabura an baby bamboo shoots. Posted pics earlier.
Had rain for 2 or 3 days here so not to bad.
Next prefecture is Hyogo, no known free campsites, but on next Thursday and Friday, rain.
l did put some km on the bike. Friday, which is today is onsen day.
Have to stay here due to make doc appt. for next week. I dont know how many km l traveled so far, try to calculate later. Summer weather started yesterday. Sleep bag now too hot at night.
Here are some new pics in Tottori .

A camper guy l met here 2 weeks ago is now leaving for Kyushu.
Mr. Kino Yamamoto has 5 kids a lots of grandkids. He now spends his life on his mamachari Traveling Japan. He said he spends his winter in Kumamoto at a public park with hundreds of snowbird people.
Amazing life story he has. So far l met 3 cyclist that travel like this, but he is the oldest. l guess with limited nenkin one can live their life like this. He said its important to take care of your teeth. Sadly he has lost his teeth. Glad l met him. He knows the routes well here in Japan. Today he said before leaving ge will travel about 15 km.
