August 20th Wednesday I landed in Ishigaki Okinawa.
It's really hot. Wednesday I stayed in the hotel and didn't camp. I started camping on the 21st starting Thursday and needless to say it's very hot and you're talking about sweating all day long and drinking water all day long.
I flew from Fukuoka taking Peach airline to Ishigaki Okinawa.

September 21st Thursday I found a campground near the ocean. The campground name is Inoda Auto Camping.
It's a full type campgrounds, very nice actually. It cost 400 yen a night which is very reasonable. I had to rent a chair and a chair cost 200 ye n a night.
It's very hot and muggy all day long.
Mosquitoes are bad sometimes but it's not too bad.
The beach is only a few hundred yards away but unfortunately you can't swim in it due to the currents.
As far as getting here there is nothing along the roadside and we're talking a long time cycling a very long time in the hot sun.
Luckily they have a vending machine every now and then and have a pretty good supply of cold water.

I continue Thursday September 21st.
I was invited to have dinner with the these two ladies that were camping. They made the pasta and really nice people, so had a good time,, actually everybody was happy. They can speak English or at least try to use the translator understanding English. I didn't take any pictures I usually don't take pictures if they you know a little hesitant if they're not taking pictures.

Friday September 22nd Friday.
Just went to the beach it was too hot to cycle.
But my first little Okinawan bento lunch. It was 200 yen.
It came with them beef patty a hot dog and two rice balls and a piece of chicken all for 200 yen.
I don't know if it took a picture of it or not maybe I did maybe I posted it already.
The campground usually has Wi-Fi but it's very secluded and sometimes we can't get Wi-Fi or Internet anyway so when I take pictures it should keep on the camera but I don't know.






Yes it's very true this is my typical dinner bread and can fish and I tried to soda I don't know what it is but the first couple sips really was delicious and I guess your taste budget used to it but yeah I really like what kind of drink is this.

September 23rd Saturday.
Laundry day how do I do my laundry. I go to the camping sink.I don't have no laundry soap. I just use the hand soap or dish soap.

11:00 in the morning and I don't have anything scheduled for today so I'm just really kicking back because I've been doing a lot of cycling in this 100° weather. I had to go to the airport to find an ATM machine which was I don't know 25 miles not 25 miles but 25 km round trip something like that and luckily they had ATM machine at Lawson's there so I was pretty scared because the new bicycle I bought cost me a lot of money I had no other choice. Well this is how I dry my clothes anyway this is how I dry my clothes

Mistake on my post today's the 24th Sunday and the island of ishigaki Okinawa I'm kicking back on a Sunday afternoon and just relaxing it's too hot to go cycling it's been too hot actually so I'm at the campsite different location can see the ocean clear view and I just got a little company here and just kicking back today.

The beaches on this side of the ocean are heavily polluted not water wise but the sand wise all the junk from wherever it comes from really bad stuff.



More sunrise pictures very beautiful ocean so calm no win it's just so peaceful.






This is my entryway to the beach and I don't think they have snakes on this island but they got some weird looking spiders.

Tonight's dinner. All this tuna sushi for only 550 yen.
Freshly caught today at the market that I go to can you believe this I mean it would cost you at least over 3,000 yen for this type of sushi sashimi. And it was so fresh and cold she gave me a two two little fish fish style I don't know I think you know what I'm saying I have soya sauce them mixed with it and wasabi and it was so good I had no rice so maybe I'm still a little hungry.

I made a mistake it's not August 20th it was September 20th.

An update from September 28th to October 2nd Monday morning.
I usually go to the airport in the morning and charge my battery and telephone and stay for a couple hours or whatever it takes to relax in the air condition because it's way too hot.
Here are some pictures I'll try to write a little about the pictures if possible.



This is the ferry terminal it's quite busy at times also a lot of fairies I was very surprised how many ferries there were.





Well this was my lunch kind of fish and bread very simple and very cost effective.

So I splurged a little for dinner one evening bread and pasta that pretty good dinner actually.

It was extremely hot extremely hot this day.






Well the typhoon is coming this October 2nd Monday tycoon should be here Thursday I believe so the ferries are a little bit iffy right now could be canceled anytime.

I here's a few more pictures from probably September 30th to October 1st.


I scream coming up but actually to make a long story short I was very disappointed and it cost 800 freaking yen.


I usually go here in the evening watch the sunset the guy with the truck there comes in the evening in a little area he tries to clean up the beach and he does his best he's retired probably 75 years old and he goes out there and scrapes up all the bottles and would work and just all the crap that comes up on the beach
These little cubicles you see here their air conditioned it's pretty cool.










It definitely was time for a break I need to have something cold the shop owner was pretty cool I asked him for a double the melon juice and he actually did it so it was pretty cool and I think it was reasonable 350 yen.





Yeah this is what the countryside looks like.







The horse was really friendly let me pet it and I don't know if the owner let you ride it or not but very friendly horse or pony.

Timeshare is flying by I'm still here on the tropical Islands of Okinawa.

Wow I haven't posted since October 18th and today's October 25th let me see what kind of pictures I've taken I'm still on the island.
I've been here over one month and time sure does fly by really fast been doing a lot of cycling I have to say sometimes I actually I don't know but based upon about 6 hours to 7 hours biking I don't know how many kilometers that would be because there's a few hills that slow me down but going downhill pretty fast.

Okay let me see what kind of pictures I got.
I tried to post these pictures last time I posted but it didn't work out so I think one is a repeat it's from October 15th.

This flower pops up almost everywhere and it most unusual places also.





On the east side of the island once you get out of the city there's only like two buses per day and this is one of them so you really don't have much choice on buses.



This is the entryway where people start to go kayaking.


This is just a picture of some of the trees that you'll see here in on this island.
