This one is for the TCC North chapter, relentlessly hardening their bodies for faster strava times and whatnot. You could even put a shiraishi run in afterwards.

I have not done this race before, but it is a classic. Just found out about it and did spontaneously enter. The course is a loop of about 11km long, lumpy and with a lot of spectators in the village near the goal.

There a still some slots available and they are filling fast. For the longest distance of ~70k, you need a JCF registration, which you can do after signing up for the race. Hope to see you at the start line...

I've gone for the shorter course... partly because of my complete lack of experienc, but also because the jcrc registration seems to take over a month. Just had my Japanese colleague go over it and it sounds like a bit of a faff.

Either way, see you there!

Cool, looking forward to see you there.

For the highest class, you can just put 申請中 where you would put your jfc number. I actually started the jfc registration after I had entered the race.
Just downloaded, printed, filled out, faxed the form to the Kanagawa jfc office and followed up with an email, why I want to register, my palmares and that I haven't registered with Uci or other international or national organizations. Got a reply with payment info the same day. Two days later I found my new membership card in the post, although I didn't even wire the money yet! Can't complain about that.
