I'm planning my racing schedule for this year.
My blog post copied in below.
If you want to know more about these or other races, hill climbs, JCRC, JBCF etc. just give me a shout.
Cheers, Andy
Andy, do you mind listing the main hill climbs in Kanto for 2019? I've heard different ones mentioned on the site but it would be helpful to see them all in one place.
Edit - I've read your site (very useful btw) but my ad blocker stops me linking to it when you post. Can you write out the URL and then I'll save your site to the bookmarks on my phone?
You're going all the way to Akita for a TT? Damn...
Tokyo Enduro sounds like fun! Where do you find all of these? lol
Oh, that TT? I did Chokai a few years ago. The hill climb was one of the hardest things I have ever done.
Yeah, but it's one of the most comprehensive places to look for events, although most of them aren't races (excepting for hill climbs).
I think we paid like 80,000 yen to list our event there. Probably worth it, but I suspect SPOEN is part of why cycling events are so damned expensive in Japan.
I have the Challenge Race at Japan Cup in mind for sure...
Uchinada sounds like fun, although it's kind of a hike.
There's also crits every few months in Sendai. Now I can ride in the age group race. Haha. It's not really a crit since there's an uphill section, though...really more like a road race.
I think one of the cycling magazines puts out a near-exhaustive list of events.
