I'm selling a full SRAM Force 22 road groupset in very good condition. Force 22 is the second top SRAM road groupset. Shifting and braking are usually described as Ultegra-level, but the groupset as a whole is about 220g lighter than R8000 (current) Ultegra in rim brake/mechanical shifting format. The bottom bracket standard of this groupset is GXP.
Here's what's included.
- 170mm length Force 22 crank. 110 BCD with two sets of matching chain rings 52-36 semi-compact and 50-34 compact, each with less than 500km. These are the later XGlide chainrings. The crankarms are carbon fiber and have some light scuffing from shoes. The crank spindle is GXP.
- Left and right 2x11 shifters. These use SRAM's double tap system, so upshifts and downshifts are both with the paddle. The brake levers do not rotate inward. The levers have no damage from crashes or scraping walls. The shifter hoods have just been replaced and are brand new.
- Front and rear brakes. Regular mount. No scratches. The pads are Swiss Stop and have plenty of life left.
- Front derailleur. Comes with chain catcher but no attachment bolt, which can be ordered from SRAM. Some scratches
- Short cage Force 22 rear derailleur - pretty much unused - max cog 28T
- Long cage SRAM Rival derailleur - used for 6000km - max cog 32T. Some minor scratches. The cage is a similar shape and looks like it could be used to convert the Force 22 derailleur to long cage.
- 11-25 SRAM Force Cassette - hardly used.
The groupset came on a Canyon Ultimate. I swapped out the cassette and rear mech after a couple of test rides, changed the chainrings from 52-36 to 50-34 at 500km, and then replaced the whole crank with a Quarq power meter after another 500km. The shifters, brakes, front mech, and Rival long cage mech stayed on the bike for another 5000km. The shifter hoods are brand new. As extras, you'll need to add a GXP bottom bracket (frame dependent) and an 11-speed chain.
Force 22 is one of the lightest groupsets, arguably the lightest reasonably-priced one. My bike was 7.05kg with an aluminum frame and the heavy stock seatpost/saddle combo (440g) you get on Canyons. I'm selling this because I'm converting another bike to hydro disc, and that has freed up lots of parts.
The price is based on winning bids on Yahoo Auctions. I'm happy to post anywhere in Japan on receiving payment. I'm cross posting on Facebook and will also put the gruppo on the Auctions in a couple of weeks if there is no buyer.
If you need any more photos, just let me know.
