Ad details

I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who is not a forum member.

The measuring tape says that this is a 51cm frame with 54cm top tube. See photos. It's an EIGHTINCH steel frame and has mostly EIGHTINCH components including the wheels. It currently has no rear brake but the frame supports it with both cable guides and the rear brake bridge (or whatever that is called). Looking at the photos again though, the rear rim seems not to have a brake track. The tires are in good condition and are 700x28C Vittoria Randonneur.

It was kept in a garage when not in use and is in good condition except for some scratches and whatnot some of which I will include photos of. A cateye bike computer is included. It has a selle italia saddle and bull bars with double front brake levers. Not sure what the gearing is but I can find out if you want.
UPDATE: The gearing is: 46 x 16.

It is a single speed currently so has a free wheel but good candidate to change to a fixed gear for some fixie commuting for example. As alluded to above, the bike would need a rear brake calliper to be legal perhaps but probably best not to use it without changing the wheel. Better yet, just put the brake on as a dummy to be legal and convert it to a fixie for proper braking fun.

My friend is asking for 50,000 yen but I would guess he is flexible if you are interested. The bike is in the Nakameguro/Yutengi area. I'm guessing he would be willing to meet a serious buyer for a viewing if required or indeed to make a sale.

UPDATE: Price dropped to 40,000 JPY
